L2 Server - Trading Platform Developer

We're looking for a developer to be part of a small team which built and maintains a leading, innovative dealing platform.

Job responsibilities

As a member of the team you will implement whole new areas of functionality for the platform, as well as share in the routine task of maintenance

Essential criteria

• We're looking for an engineer with at least three years' experience developing Winforms using C# and .NET 2
• It's vital that you have a solid background developing highly graphical, multithreaded C# 2 desktop applications for which you've developed a range of complex custom controls
• You should have strong OO skills and an appreciation and understanding of algorithm performance considerations
• It's a given that you'll have a deep knowledge of the C# language and .NET as well as software engineering staples such as design patterns

Desirable criteria

• Our ideal candidate is someone with a creative flair who gets a buzz out of coding, and who probably reads associated books and tries out new technologies and ideas

Financial experience is not essential.
