Retail clients dominate our spread betting and binary betting businesses, while the client base for CFDs comprises mainly individual retail clients but also market professionals and some corporate entities.

International reach

We currently have over 130,000 active clients, spread across our operations in the UK, Europe, the US, Australasia, the Far East and South Africa.

In the last financial year our UK offices achieved revenue of over £167 million. Both mainland Europe and Australia are now substantial businesses. Our European offices continue to grow strongly, with revenue up 21% from £47.4 million to £57.5 million, while our Australian office achieved revenue of 47.6 million.

Our brands successfully appeal to a wide global market, making up a diverse international client base. From the more casual through to the experienced spread bettor and trader on IG Index and IG Markets, our clients are 'taking a view' worldwide.

Our partners

As well as those clients dealing directly with one of our IG brands, we service a network of clients indirectly through our various partners. These partnerships take the form of either Basic Introducers, Regulated Brokers or White Labels. Through these connections, our partners can augment their own revenue, expand their product range and give clients the opportunity to use our platform.
